Interview with Thais da Silva from Dia Doce

We went to Chester County’s 32nd Annual Restaurant Festival, in West Chester, PA, to interview Thais da Silva from Dia Doce (sweet day in Portuguese). Dia Doce specializes in traditional cupcakes made with mostly local ingredients. They always have at least four gluten-free vegan cupcake flavors with them wherever they go, but they can make any of their flavors vegan and gluten-free by special order. Their cupcake truck can be found at varied locations in PA including some farmer’s markets.

We first met Thais and tried her cupcakes at the Whole Foods Market Devon’s 18th Anniversary and were so thrilled to find out she makes plenty of delicious vegan options. If you’re in PA, try them for yourself and let us know what you think.
